SAFC farewells Helen Hage and announces new staff appointment

The SAFC is pleased to announce the appointment of Michelle Driver as SAFC Finance Officer, and bids a fond farewell to outgoing Finance Officer Helen Hage.

Michelle Driver joins the SAFC’s Finance team with more than 25 years of experience in accounting support across sectors including architecture, engineering, and pharmaceuticals, bringing a wealth of expertise to her role. Michelle commenced her role on 19 September and is thrilled to be part of the dynamic and creative team at the SAFC.

Michelle takes over from outgoing Finance Officer Helen Hage, who retired last month after nearly four years with the SAFC. A much loved member of the team, Helen has played a crucial role in managing SAFC finance processes, including payroll and expenses, reconciliations and more, and has also been key in facilitating the SAFC’s archiving and records management projects.

SAFC CEO Kate Croser said: “Over her time with the SAFC, Helen has been an integral part of the Finance team and much-loved member of staff for her dedication and diligence, and readiness to help wherever needed. Her contributions to the agency’s day-to-day operations and archiving projects have been invaluable, and she will be greatly missed.

“We are delighted to now welcome Michelle Driver to the SAFC. She brings a wealth of experience and passion for the creative industries that will make her a real asset to the organisation. I look forward to working with Michelle.”
